Very interesting results from a survey that PublishingTrends did on doing PR (and marketing) for books online.  A few items worth highighting before reading the article - there are some interesting differences between what PR people feel vs. the media they reach, how publicists should talk to bloggers, etc. By the way, Joe Wikert is quoted in this article.

Powells to launch subscription club - features a book plus related material for $39.95 - called IndiSpensable, and will kick off in March.

BBC article on Nielsen Online research that states that books are the most popular online buy.  More books are sold than any other product, and the number is increasing.
